Description Day 3.

We gathered everything we can find and head on into the forest. Just as we about to step into the forest entrance and dwell into the abyss. The ground suddenly open up, revealing a set of sharp teeth. Camy and I manage to escape the gaping maw thanks to our reflexes. But poor Poirot was unfortunately swallowed by the creature. Which we later find out is a feral pit.

After the quick meal, the creature quickly close its jaw, revealing that it has the ability to camoflague perfectly, blending in the ground as if it was the ground all along. We tried all we can think of to make the being open it’s mouth. Tickles, biscuits, dead rats, even a swing of the broken sword to what seems to be its mouth doesn’t even make it flinch. The thing’s skin is thicker than a tank. Not wanting to let Poirot be turned into an excrement golem. I decided to do something that I would preferably regret. I took a jar of barbecue sauce and some elephant tranquilizer I’ve been saving up, mixed them together and poured them all over my body. I then sit on the place where the creature’s mouth resides and wait there, with a rope tied to my body so Camy can pull me out afterwards, all the while being sticky and smell like 3-week-old venisons. Not even half a minute later, the creature opens it mouth and swallow me hole.

The creature stomach is surprisingly bioluminescent, and I quickly found Poirot half melted body among the bones and body of other creatures it ate. Unfortunately, I soon regret mixing the barbecue sauce with the tranquilizer. Because as I was about to grab Poirot, the creature suddenly writhing in pain. I later found out the the tranquilizer doesn’t have the same effect on the creature like with other animals, but instead akin to something like cocaine. The creature burst out of the ground, tossing and dragging Camy everywhere as the creature squirming wildly. After 30 minutes, the creature finally od itself and died. We manage to escape its stomach and deck to put the exploration on hold for the time.
