Description
It's been a while since I last uploaded an image. I haven't really made anything new since I started teaching this year. Right now I am home cleaning up after Hurricane Ike. We suffered some roof damage and damage to our carpets and furniture, but we are all physically ok. School is closed at least until next week, so I am taking a break from all the mess and looking at some beautiful art. This is a fractal image I created last year and submitted to the 2007 Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest. It received Honorable Mention.

I'm glad to hear you're OK after Ike happened, Mary. I can imagine it's hard to going through all this.
This is a very unique image and I love the coloring in it. Very interesting is the structure in background, it almost looks like lace from Brussels.

Lovely work! I like the look of a forest floor, with roots and leaves and those wonderfully colorful and very 3D flowers blooming in the quiet light.
Congrats on the honorable mention!

It sure is a "Forest of Flowers".
Nice work.
BTW, everything I do is based on your tutorial #1.
Thanks for the help.
