"Wisp" just seems like an apt sound for it maybe. But only maybe. o_OAnd apparently writing these Artist's Comments things is tedious, but it always bothers me when I find ones lacking in length...
(What would I want to read if I was looking at this as myself, but I wasn't the person who drew this? Maybe I'd be curious about the actual creature and would want to know what it was or what inspired it... I... don't have an answer to those questions. o_O)

When you INKED this at me, I imagined very different colours! o_O
(I could remember what those colours WERE earlier too, when I first saw this, but now I CAN'T. =_
But it reminds me of some kind of... deep sea thing! Y'know, one of those small, sort-of-transparent things that you see in documentaries and photos that are brightly-lit against a pitchly dark background, and they're all... cilia-y? Or something...? o_O (Do I even KNOW what I mean?!)

Anyway, like I said at you on MSN, I like how you're drawing ORIGINALISH CREATURES rather than just the same old generic fantasy things as everyone else! I admire that! : D
With THIS thing, I especially like the 'leg' things, because they look so INSECTOID and ALIEN and... not generic! Yes!
I also like the texture of the HAIR stuff on it (is it hair, though...?), and I REALLY like the colouring of the belly! IT LOOKS LIKE YOU CAN SEE INSIDE IT AND IT IS FULL OF MAGICAL ENERGY AND/OR CONFECTIONARY?! o_O
I personally think that the background looks rather... FLAT, though... o_O
With the solid, dark colour, and those pinpricky star things that are all pretty much the same transparency... BUT MAYBE THAT'S JUST ME, because I'm so used to my own cloudy background things... o_O
(Though totally don't like pointing out what I feel are 'flaws' though in your art (OH IF ONLY THAT APPLIED IN ALL SITUATIONS?! o_O; ), as if I could do 'better' or something... D: )
It's just personal preferrenece of course, anyway...
(OH! I also like those... BITS on the tail and neck... The GOLDY THINGS... And also the orangish-reddy glow of the 'hair'! Yes! o_O)

Well apparently I was originally imagining it as mostly TEAL or something... with white... hair stuff, BUT THAT CHANGED apparently when I decided to attempt it entirely differently... And guh, I totally didn't know what do DO with the background... The... THING is totally TRANSPARENT, so if I changed the background below it, it changed the look of the... IT. I couldn't use VIBRANT COLOURS without it becoming... eye-burning...? o_O
But uh... THANKEROOS, YOU MAGICAL SWARMBUNKER, YOU!1! Your complimenty comments fill me with SMILES and make me JOY! I like to EAT smiles and BECOME NURSE JOY. That'll teach the children to be SMILINGLY SATISFIED with my Pokemon healing services!!1 +_+!
