"Let's waltz under the moonlight"My artwork for:
7 Days Color Challenge
The challenge is being held by
Day 1 : Red
Day 2 : Orange
Day 3 : Yellow
Day 4 : Green
Day 5 : Blue
Day 6 : PURPLE
The color of purple related to nobility, magic, and close to darkness.
MY OC, Threven Nicholush. She is Foosha's apprentice. Foosha is the one who teach her to manipulating shadow. Threven is a noble, just like Foosha. Her clan has darkness element ( in this world, element has nothing to do with good/ evil). Her hobby is fortune telling. Her species is persian cat- snowy owl. Threven has set of knives and cards as weapons. Her cards is gift from Foosha, can trap anything into another dimension ( size matter). She use her cards as weapons deposit and for fortune telling. She really respect her master, even though he's younger than Threven.
PS: The tentacle looking is her shadow.

Wow, this is gorgeous! You did an excellent job with movement in this piece! It really draws the viewers attention from the focal point which is the moon down to the subject which leads to the shadows which then lead right back up to the clouds and moon! It's excellent use of movement like this that keep a viewer from looking away. Good work! I also really like the wispy texture of the clouds and the overall color scheme! One criticism I have, however, is Threven's wings. They need a little more shading to create a 3-D effect, but other than that, this is quite excellent!

PolarDarkness gave some great points and I like your choice of colour schemes and lighting.
A couple extra points I would suggest would be:
~ consider your edges. For example your shadows have slightly blurred edges in places and sharp edges in other places. This gives a confusing impression, better to choose either soft or hard, not both.
~ secondly her cloak. Your main light source seems to be the moon behind and above her. Yet the cloak is brightly lit from infront. Likewise her wings should have more shadows where they fold.

Hmmm... I wanted to make the shadow 'moving' so i blurring some parts~ I never thought it will make confusing impression....

Nice! I can see you're still working on contrast and lighting in this one and it looks great! You did especially well capturing the light from above! Very nice! I also love the little shadow faces at the bottom. :] Really nice line work in this too! I love the face and the wings! Beautiful work! :]

This is quite nice! I like the way you did the clouds and the sky (with different tones of purple). Even though, here are some tips:
-Avoid using really saturated colours and a lot of pure black. aturated colours "call" your attention, so if there are a lot of them (or a great area painted with it), they won't allow people's eyes to "rest" and they'll clash onto each other (sorry, I'm horrible at explaining this OTL). About pure black, if you put too much in the picture it'll probably lose contrast strength (For example: if you are in a room painted in a bright colour with a black spot, it'll get you attention, but if the room is painted in a dark colour, you won't notice the black dot or at least not at first).
-Use some perspective on your OC. mean, we are seeing the scene as if we were in the floor, not from the front eye-level view. It'll probably make the pic more stunning.

while you may think that the pupil is all pure black(#000000), it isn't.
same with white, I'd recommend leaving those two to certain points on the picture (to catch the viewer's attention).
