I was curious to know, how in the hell do you play the game? I went to the site and..there's no where there to PLAY it and nowhere to download it. Is it even available yet?

Beautiful shading and palette on this picture... The texture of the sand is great, the gradient of the background colors looks beautiful, and the colored shadows really give a nice effect. Very well done

You just made a huge mistake by uploading it as JPG. Next time, use PNG or GIF alright?
If you have the original file, before you saved as JPG, you really should update.

uhm, sorry to sound rude, as i appreciate you liking my shading, but i do know what i'm doing when it comes to saving pixel art :/, and you telling me to change the extension (when theres no reason to right now) makes me feel that you think I dont. The jpg file looks -exactly- the same as the orignal and the png file i have of it. I didnt feel like uploading my good copy to deviantart. The png was reserved for the people i made it for. The only difference is that the jpg ups the colour count. If you look, this is the png version, it does look the same..atleast on my computer X_x;; [link]

Changing the extension is different than changing the format.
Saying a JPG looks -exactly- like the PNG is like poking my eye with a hot needle! For the untrained eye, JPG's might be alright, but for me, god, I can spot the jpg compression messing up instantly!
And why the hell not upload the good and nice and perfect png version? It's smaller and better and everyone wins

I just worked with the JPEG compression algorithm on the programming level, so I know what it does with the pixels and everything.

well it sounded insulting. i didnt think you -meant- to be, hence the term inadvertantly. And yes i know what jpgs can do when saved at low quality. It makes things look disgustingly ugly, but there wasnt enough of a difference in this case since i saved it at high quality.

You really don't get anything good from saving things like that. High quality JPGs are still lossy (and I can notice), and on pixel art you get bigger file sizes.
So, you'd be just damaging your art and making a bigger file. You win nothing by saving as JPG.
It's not something to argue about, JPG just shouldn't touch pixel art because that's not why the format was created for.

i already changed the file and and said you'd won so why are you still trying to argue with me over it? I'm not stupid, and yet you insist on talkig to me like i am. I am a pixel artist, not just some random person that decided to dabble in it and didnt know any better. I had my reasons for uploading it as a jpg. YOU may not agree with them, and thats your choice, but please stop trying to convince me i'm wrong on something that doesnt matter to me at this point. The Good versions of my art go on my site, not here.
I respect your opinion on this, and i thank you for commenting, but please respect my opinion aswell.

You people just LOVE to get things as personal attacks, don't you? ANYTHING is a reason to get offended.
I'm not calling you stupid or anything, so knock it off! If you just have personal reasons to upload stuff here as JPG, then they must be very bizarre but I'll accept that. I just hate to see people saving great pixel art as JPG, that's all, and I just try to encourage them to stop doing it.
But again, you said you have good reasons, so I'll trust you on that.
I just ask you to PLEASE, stop taking any comment that's not a compliment as a personal attack. It just makes everything annoying and difficult.

its not whats said but how it is said. I dont take everything that isnt a compliment as an attack, I love c/c on how to better my art. It is the fact that instead of asking me why i did it you automatically assumed i didnt know any better and that you had the better solution. I have said twice that i know you werent meaning to sound rude but that you were making me feel like you thought less of me than you do yourself. This is all just getting confusing, so i'm sorry cause i'm tired.

I'm repeating others, but your lighting and texturing is amazing. So is the use of color. I love the expressions on the coconuts. The animation is interesting to watch; it's cool to see the process of other artists. Definitely faving this.

Hey that is you at pixelation! I just joined there. So you finished the greenery too. It looks great. Your backgrounds (I find this word rather reduces such pixels) are always a pleasure to look at. So is this. The clouds I like most and the sand is also wonderfully dithered. The mixed shading techniques work pretty well here!
