One thing I love about the original mech design, is how the roof plate forms a 'coffin lid' shape!
And I love how dynamic the hull shape is, using a minimum of separate planes/armor plates.

You're right! It's coffin shaped. Luck by chance

And the frontal armor has it too... w/ a fold at the bottom. Great design!
BTW, all the revisions to these were excellent. I read all your notes and stuff. Will respond more substantially later,
but everything was great. My only comment is that I think 'Nancy' could be even bigger (thereby indicating the overall vehicle size is smaller). I think you may overestimate the amount of space that the crew has. Having been in some AFVs myself, I can say its very very cramped! And that was minus all the extra battle gear like ammunition and such. Unless you're in a Pershing or Tiger... its usually a sardine can situation.
Most of the time, the crew is really on top of each other. Very intimate. And I think that a point was generally made recruit tanker crews who are on the smaller side. Except for loaders, who tended to be bulky dudes, but they're not needed here in any case. So... the nest probably doesn't need to be smaller.
And what happened to Nancy's clothes?

ah this one is the best out of all, other than the "style" and theme that you re trying to follow, the rest of the models seem to be just "replace the wheels with legs" but this one is actually very well made and original in its details. Its also great to see some atmosphere and an actual sence that take your work out of the usual "a model on a white screen".
8/10 !
