Time to practice some poses! There's nothing better than drawing six same characters to practice.
Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu and Todomatsu - the main characters of the anime and manga "Osomatsu-kun" - are identical sextuplets; honestly, I've forgotten who is where on the drawing.
I don't usually watch any anime; honestly, this is the first one I've started watching since 2 years or so. Though anime originally ran during the 60s and 80s, there's a reboot called "Osomatsu-san", practically a fast-forward 15 years. However, I seem to like original Osomatsu-kun more.
The only thing i know is I put Osomatsu in the front, holding a fishing rod with "Iyami" fish on the hook; Choromatsu is holding the fish. This is an obvious nod to the very beginning of the original anime that has aired from 1966 to 1967, when two of these boys went fishing and there was a 1000 yen prize for this fish. Where's the rest? You decide, I've already forgotten.
The technique I used there is drawing an outline on a sheet of paper, scanning it and then coloring it digitally. Gives some nice effects and it's rather fast.
