Thank you, Butch Hartman, for the sixteen years of The Fairly OddParents!The Season 1 premiered on March 30, 2001. The Season 10 ended on July 26, 2017.
And since I haven't heard of Season 11 and the episodes have been viewed less, recently, and Mr. Hartman is working on "Bunsen is a Beast", I don't think the series will go on.
But let's look at FOP, the show which made the childhood of people born in 90's and early 2000's. Re-watching older seasons still give me nostalgia. But if this is the end, I have to admit that nothing was better than watching Timmy making his reckless wishes; Cosmo always making me laugh and Wanda, always trying to clean the mess which these two made. Those were the days!

I was born in 1985 and this was my most favorite cartoon. My mother likes it too! Timmy's still one of my most favorite cartoon characters ever!
I liked the earlier days of this cartoon better than the later days. Didn't start watching this until 2002. Two of my most favorite episodes:
-Power Mad
-Boys in a Band
To bad this cartoon had to end. Well, maybe a new series of this cartoon will be made later, and I mean much much later.

Born quite a bunch of years later, I grew up on first seasons of FOP. My personal faves are "Transparents", you know, when the fairies learned how to act and be a human to meet Mr. Crocker, and "Dog's Day Afternoon", when Timmy swaps brains with Vicky's dog Doidle. The older episodes were indeed hilarious!
I wish they were broadcasted anywhere, I'd like to rewatch them again.

Yeah I liked Transparents too (except for Cosmo letting out gas, but that's just me!) I liked that Cosmo and Wanda were stretched taller. Back then I did wish they could be Timmy's parents instead or adopt Timmy, but now I know Timmy loves both his real parents and fairy godparents. Later in the episode "The Big Scoop" Cosmo and Wanda (pretending to be Timmy's parents) were made more realistic and their bodies were more human-like.
I just recently watched Dog's Day Afternoon a few days ago.
Let me tell you though, there have been some Fairly Odd Parents episodes that offended me or were unsettling to me, like "Bad Case of Diary-Uhh," I hated that Vicky was using Timmy as her footstool, and then blowing a pin into his rump to force him to tell the truth. I also didn't like the episode about Timmy wishing Vicky had a boyfriend. Much of the Season 10 episodes weren't so great either, especially of the ones where Timmy was dressed as or turned into a girl. Again, that's just me.
And admittedly I didn't like the Poof episodes, I still don't like Fairly Odd Baby but respect you if you do. But later Poof grew on me and became my second favorite character. Now if only I could have seen what he looked like older. I also like that he talked in "School of Crock" and "Fairly Odd Fairytales." Only wish he kept that voice in "Certified Baby Sitter."

"Truth of Cosmoquences" (I honestly hoped there'd be an episode where Timmy had to go to the bathroom really bad and there was!)

"The Old Man and the C Minus"
"Information Stupor Highway"
Okay I'll stop for now. And I'm too tired to come up with anymore but those are some of the episode names I remember by heart. But there are some episodes I like, some I mostly like.

Perosnally, seasons 1-5 were the best to me. Instead of adding more and more characters (the cartoon eventually needed some diversity... right?) I'd stick to the original "three".
Season 9 was a rather disappointment for me. Honestly, I eventually got used to Poof in the series, but I couldn't stand Sparky. And then came Chloe. Of course if anoyne likes that, it's perfectly okay.
Also, talking about unsettling episodes - in my opinion, the most controversial one was "It's a Wishful Life". Timmy wishes that he was never born. If you think about it, it gives some chills. And, then he looks at things that have become better since he was "erased" from this world.
And too bad Poof spoke not so much, hearing him was a surprise.

I'll have to admit, I was kinda sad that the Fairly OddParents has ended, but considering the reception of the last 2 seasons, I'll say that's probably for the better. And besides, Butch Hartman is putting all of his effort into Bunsen is a Beast now. I'm just glad that Nickelodeon chose to end the show before it could become the next Simpsons or Family Guy. Still, I'm sure the Nicktoons channel will air the older episodes of the Fairly OddParents for years to come. I have a feeling that if the show ever comes back, it'll probably be in the form of a reboot without the original creator's input. Or, maybe in the form of a comic book. A man can dream, though.Β

Yeah, I totally agree to that.
But for me the Season 7 was the worst, though. I just couldn't stand how Timmy was treated, and how Cosmo was stupid then. Still, the newest seasons aren't the same as the from our childhoods...
And I really hope Nick will air older seasons worldwide, but I don't think this would be easy.
I'd love comic books if they could make some new.
