Why thank you and yes I do use a tablet, but I didn't for this particular piece. For this piece I vectored everything using a mouse.

the tablet for me was somewhat tricky, since I use my right hand for my mouse, but I'm left handed, so when I began using my tablet I was using my left hand, which I wasn't really used to before, and let me tell you, the results were less than appealing. Whenever I use mine I first tend to find a position or way of holding it or resting it that is comfy. If I can't get in a good groove with it then I won't produce anything very well. Go through the tutorial that comes with it for sure. I'm not sure if everyones is like this, but mine is set so that if I draw right to the edge and then lift the pen my cursor doesn't automatically jump back to where ever I set the pen down next. It's weird to explain, but I enjoy not having it do that, so I can continue a line without my paint brush jumping. I also began using mine as if it were a mouse, so I would use it to opening things up, or go to different programs. It help me see it as another type of mouse, which made the connection between the tablet and my brain easier.
