the bizare angles of the street and the resturant appeal to me in this one. normally i don't like it when shots are not horizontal, so to speak, but it really works in this one. esp the long exposure of the guy pervin in the window. it almost makes it look like a dream sequence..hence your fitting title.

TYVM, well, it is the old part of town (Old Montreal), with narrow streets and cobblestones.
Glad you like it

It looks like a grand place to eat in...the colors and the architecture are captivating, but the angled shot makes it a more interesting composition. as for the man caught mid-movement...love it!

Interesting strange building, I've thought first that this was wide angle deformation It was a cool idea to align the pic as you've done!

Long Exposure.

I like this straight/perspective view. The french (is it?) language is inticing. I like the lighting also, Im sure that with most of your photo's - You put some sort of blur or glow effect on your lights/lighting. I think it looks beautiful! The name on the door,
Pierre Du Calvet, sounds ever so nice - romantic even.

If Im right, I like the :ground up: view you've done/positioned on the camera, the colour reflective from the lights are perfectly done. Just a question, is this the restaurant you goto? lol and dine?

Nice shot flashtek.

Take care:

Jess

TY for the comment Jess.

No, I don't use any filters/effect for lightings but I use noise removal with PS7.

And yes, I dine at this restaurant, pretty expensive but great food and service....and the wine list is like a mile long
