Description
The Blight is a demonic infection that slowly corrupts and overtakes the body. Since the great cataclysm it has infected all living beings. Pathfinders willingly become infected and then train to draw upon the demonic power for strength. Doing this causes the Blight to spread at an exponential rate. Dark thoughts taint their mind, tempt them toward violent and destructive acts. Even with years of training, the will is not always strong enough to overcome this influence.

This piece was created in Procreate using an iPad Pro. It presents original characters, creatures, and the world of In the Shadow of the Ancients. ItSotA is a comic project that I am working on with my husband, based on a tabletop roleplaying game campaign we ran over the course of years. It was a multifaceted saga, that spanned multiple groups of players and branching storylines, and original adventures. We utilized Dungeons & Dragons, Dungeon World, Torchbearer, and Pathfinder.
