The rib wound was bad. Not deep enough to strike the heart, but deep enough to bleed goddamn everywhere and make Augustine’s desperate retreat up the mountain a complete agony. Worse was the pain of memory: the other (untainted, honorable, good) knight’s lip curled in disgust. Her boot hammering down on August’s pinned blade. The whine of warping steel. The shattering.
Finished this sketch ! And a lil flavor text about the previously described scenario that led up to this. Poor August, at least they got a bitchin’ impractical anime sword outta the deal.

I think so, yeah! I'm taking some time to flesh out the overall arc, and figure out how I want to do things, but you'll definitely see this fella back in written content sometime.

If you wrote an entire book about Augustine I would read it beggining to end and only stop for potty breaks.

If the sword is heavy enough, it can be as impractical, dull, and crappy as it wants; getting slammed with a jagged metal edge with 20 or so pounds of weight behind it would heckin hurt any way you look at it :')
