This is for . Used this guy for a one-off comic some of you may remember from a while back and I like his design too much to drop, so I thought something like this might be fun!

A little more about this guy (or girl...who can tell?):
- Bupsy is one of three mascot characters (think like Mickey Mouse) for Funland, a popular theme park. Bupsy is also a cursed, people-eating monster and a huge asshole.
- The mascot 'suit' doesn't come off.
- The expression in the colored example is Bupsy's default look, and gives the most costume-like impression. Though he can be more expressive, living at the park and constantly around humans has made him immensely frightened of discovery of his true nature. He usually won't pull faces unless around someone fully aware of his whole living costume deal, OR if he's about to try and eat them and just doesn't care.
An exception to this would be when he is dealing with other very obviously nonhuman creatures.
- Bupsy is not an entirely flesh and blood creature, as evidenced by the stitches and patches. Cutting him deeply would spill out both blood and stuffing.
- The underlying bones/musculature of his body is nonhuman, both stronger than the average person and somewhat more awkward. Bupsy's very ungainly when walking normally but can switch to all fours to run and pounce with greater precision

PERSONALITY:
-Ethics are basically lawful evil. Won't go out of his way to needlessly hurt someone, cautious, keeps his word, but isn't about to restrain his compulsion to eat small children either.
-Bupsy rarely physically picks fights and avoids combat as much as possible, preferring to engage only when he's positive he has the advantage (opponent being unaware of his nature, being completely alone with someone, etc.)
-He is a total jerk though and will VERBALLY pick fights and make fun of people to make himself feel better/less nervous.
-He is fairly egotistical, and the desire to get the last word in will often override his nerves in bad situations. He can't keep his mouth shut, especially if he dislikes whoever he's bantering with (which...is almost always). Has a victim complex, loves to be right about everything, and acts like he has a high opinion of himself (I say 'acts' because he doesn't actually--ever met one of those people who thinks they suck but thinks everybody else is worse? That's him).
-Not a completely irredeemable character in theory. He does have moments of mercy, but years of being cursed and repeatedly caving to horrible urges have thoroughly eroded his sense of compassion and faith in other people.

NOTE ON HL IN PARTICULAR: Bupsy likes to try and play it cool, but unfamiliar situations make him incredibly nervous and cowardly. He's been a big fish in a small pond for a while and suddenly being out of Funland is pretty frightening for him. He can't normally leave the park out of sheer common sense (I mean...he's a big ol' cat costume, not gonna blend in) and has had no luck in figuring out how or why Funland--and, by extension, himself--became cursed to begin with, so he's not at ALL experienced with magic, despite his supernatural nature. Some of the stranger guests will definitely freak him out. He may, however, be less sneaky about his true nature when encountering similarly inhuman creatures.

Basically he's a big goofy living costume with nasty teeth and an attitude problem.
