With that the trio set out for Fickle forest on Loki’s suggestion, the sun still hanging high in the sky as they passed the nook and neared the tree line, a somewhat awkward silence settling over them. Loki paused at the edge however, his ears twitching as magic glands kicked up, straining to hear what sounded like footsteps approaching. He turned, immediately spotting a figure rapidly approaching, calling out to the others to wait for a moment as the blue biped drew nearer, waving their arms at him.
Eventually the gro reached them, skittering to a stop and lifting up a familiar flyer as they paused to catch their breath.
”I’m uh, here to help. Me and Rhysand knew eachother, and so when i saw the flyer i got worried, mind if i help?”
Loki blinked at the unfamiliar gro for a moment, he hadn’t known Rhys had made any friends, but quickly offered the gro a smile, extending a paw to shake,
”Ah of course! I’m Loki, these here are Yami and Naveah, we were just about to head out to look, you are welcome to join us!”
The blu gro gave him a nervous smile as he shook his paw, now tucking the flyer away as he glanced at Lokis companions
”Izar! Nice to meet you, Loki”
With a final smile the four set out into the woods once more, the tall trees closing around them as they entered the forest.

As the continued, the sunlight filtering grew less and less frequent, and so Loki once again pulled out his lightbulb, offering what little light he could as they called out for the lost wyngling, thir shouts only met with silence and bird calls.
About an hour later Loki was examining an odd clump of disturbed mushrooms when he heard a booming shout of ‘OW’, whipping his head up instantly to stare towards the sound. There was no doubt in his mind that the shouter was not Rhys, the wyngling was too small to make such a sound, and beyond that he was mute, but perhaps whoever was out there had seem, or needed help. With a quick call to the others, the four quickly set out to find the source of the noise
