It's horrible when people make this kind of fan character, I wanna rip my eyes out.
As for elements, if the character is a The Legend of Spyro fan character, then dragons can only have one element. I'm at least 90% sure about that, every dragon except the purple dragon (born once every ten generations, so probably 1000 years, maybe?) who can eventually learn (and apparently master) them all.

That's because so many people give their characters two or even more elements. If you look into the lore, it's stated many times that only the purple dragon can learn more than one element. All other dragons have one.

way you think! XD So many Cynder copys here on dA.
Before I got more original ideas, many of my ocs looked like Cynder "chough Rubina and Violet" Well I kicked out Violet and changed Rubin
a. She had horns like Cynder and knives at her wings and tail... My old ocs had 3 or 4 elements, but many of them were elememts I made up myself (life, magic, death, time and star for the most.)
Alies also looked like Spyro by secondary colors. He had electricity and ice as his elements. But I changed to contrast elements, fire and ice. He is a blue frozenflame dragon.
Dina had a Cynder knife tail, but now it's not (you can see a pic of her on my profile. It's the ref one.) She had only fire, but after a life-death meeting with my fursona A.W, her element changed to only magic.
A.W (Amethyst Wolf or her real name Arina) has a connection to all 18 elements (but can't use every so well because she is too lazy to train them,) but the reason is she is me and I created all the elements... XD hmm... Anyway she is not very strong with them, Kigen is kicking her butt... Argh, train more!! Noo lazy... The only she can use pretty good is Amethyst, Shadow and Cosmic. She is not good or evil. She just does what she want (that's why the gods don't like her. No one can trust her. She change to the side she think will win, not caring about peoples really... :\ Anyway, she has nothing to do with Spyro. She belongs to my world! >:C
Jason is a wolf with fire element. Main character in a comic I am working on.
But my dragons are not Spyro fan characters. They belongs to me! I even created Dina before I played Spyro. Spyro just made me wanna draw dragons on 4 legs, not 2.
LOL I find so many Spyro copys with unoriginal powers and names like "Blaze," "Crystal," "Terra (if earth dragon,)" Flame" and whatever with a "ia" ending. That's really weird... XD

A.W is a wolf, so she was not like Spyro at all.

Yeah, I made her when I was very little. Like 5 I think. She was first a purple dragon-wolf looking thing. Then she was white with golden parts and tiger stripes. After that she got golden markings, green eyes and dark blackish-brown hair and light blue wings. Now she is white with purple markings, red eyes, without that hair (I liked her better looking wolfish and not anthro on four legs XD Wolves looks weird with hair,) and with black wings.
