Description
Second piece in the Dune project.The main character ventures into the city unseen by guards- there is noone roaming the street after curfew. The light from the Harkonnen's palace illuminates the city with a blinding glare, reminding all those who reside of the rulers and their harsh power.

Very, very nice work... Great perspective, which gives a strong sense of scale, colour palette is good with a nice mix of cold and warm hues and there is just enough colour/light around the figure to draw your eye to him.
Question: What is the balance between 3d and brush work? Seem that the foreground and central aerial walkways are 3d and the rest brush? Difficult to tell what has been over-painted though!

A wonderful mixture of futuristic and modern architecture that creates a believable setting. Because in real life, not everything would be super advanced all at the same time. Some places would take longer.

FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO READ DUNEΒ Β (my inner nerd just exploded. I love the books, but nobody around me does, so I have no one to talk about the awesomeness that is those books.)
I love how there are those platform thingies, because it makes me feel like it's a sort of a web all over the whole place, kinda like how Harkonnen rules, it creates this overwhelming feeling of insecurity (because from there they could see any movement of the ones below...)
