The wings are symbolic. I draw them on when I feel like it. He doesn't have them in the story.

In this picture, the feathers are symbolic. The Bird King was just the title of the alternate universe I used for the other picture. When he was little, most people called him "Bird" but now he requests people who aren't close to him refer to him by "Ailinar" which is his surname.

He's a servant, actually, so he has no title.
Captain works by occupation since he's military, but he has no noble title so Sir doesn't work, and he didn't finish high school, so Doctor would be far from appropriate

I saw this featured in someones personal journal telling everyone to come and see your awsome work. I'm glad I did thus allowing me to fav your hard work and awsome detail. I love the brick wall by the way. Those things can be so very touchy and tricky. Then his shirt with the symbol detail and how you kept it from becoming muddy. Just the skill in making his draped cloth is fabulous and hangs correctly making it very believable. I must agree that his right arm looses its depth with how the tunic is to defined by his armpit. If his sleeve covered just the back edge slightly it would look more threedemensional and less dominant.

The arm coming out of the shirt on the right arm is a bit wonky but othrwise the shading and line work is completely gorgeous. You get so in depth with the background and all the little details tha tit would be a crime not to stay and study them all
