Ferro is a word associated with the Blood angels, those three drops were on another piece featuring a blood angel, but also that red of the armourΒ isn't dark enough.

What chapter is he from? Tags say that he might be blood raven(Thule?), but I can't see any ravens(there are drop of blood and wings motives, but they belong to skull and aquilla) so I'm not sure. Color sheme looks like theirs, but I'm far from expert on this and insignia on right fist belongs to blood angels(was this armor also a "present"?

he is in fact a blood raven, I included their symbol as a golden bird with a blood drop on the left pauldron. and ferro it's his name and means "iron" in latin

And it the spirit of the Blood Ravens I see he has a "gifted" vanbrace from the Blood Angels.

Maybe "Papa Smurf" ought to keep a closer eye on his gauntlets, though knowing those thieving magpies (whom I admire by the way) they would probably be adorning the hands of Gabriel Angelos soon

Looks like a combination of the Blood Ravens and the Blood Angels who, surprisingly, are not from the same Legion. The coloring scheme is Blood Ravens, but the iconography is Blood Angels. Ferro means Iron, but it can be his name or as you said, his homeworld.
