Description "Trapped outside the dark tower forever, they keep whispering and crying in the sandstorm. As the hardest of all punishments, they are left alone with their hunger, their fear and pain in the rough and endless darkness."

Number four in the photomanipulation-series.

The original version of this picture was meant to be darker or even black and white, but the sandstorm-effect turned out better this way, I think. Hope you like it Check out the other parts, if you have time:

Wow, that's really trippy. I like it, quite a lot.

Another awesome piece of work. You're really integrating the figures and effects into the photo well. When I saw your first manipulation, I was afraid you would overdo the filters, which is a very common beginners-mistake. But seeing this makes me confident that you will continue to submit quality work

Thanks

I actually experimented with a lot of different filters on this work. I had one that made the piece look black and white and I worked with several new layers of textures to make the sky look more interesting. But in the end, simplicity seemed the better solution. It underlines the sandstorm-effects in the upper part of the picture

It's a really difficult task to make a photomanipulation look uniform (esp. concerning the colors) and to work with as few layers as possible.

And yeah, the first photomanip probably sucked

Danke!
