Description
My first deviation after the big breakI started working on the traditional part of the picture about 2 weeks ago, and tried especially to improve my shading technique, which is no longer based on "realistic lighting", but seems to be connected with some kind of impulsivity. I like the results, although I am still not really satisfied with the digital part. Maybe I'm gonna change it, but at first I'll finish some other pieces.
Enjoy as much as I enjoyed creating it

I started with the traditional part, that's why I postet it in this section. You're right, the background is all digital, but I think without the traditional drawing it would look very boring. Unfortunately there is no real "mixed media" section meaning really a mixture between traditional and digital parts....
Thanks so much for the comment, though

I think you can be happy that they aren't, I see them as some kind of "slaves" of a bigger system, that's why they all look so sad Means, they wouldn't be very motivated
Thank you so much for the fave!!

Hey, thx so much for the fave
Looks like this one is becoming one of my most faved deviations Didn't expect such euphoric reactions, but the less you expect it, the more it makes me happy

Wow, thank you! This is definitely one of the pictures in which the digital and traditional parts match most... It was a very long process to cut off all the parts of the scanned picture where you can see the digital things now, but after some hours it started to be pure fun

You've definately got a great style that's all your own. I think your impulsive lighting works well for your style. If it weren't for that, it wouldn't be totally yours.

Thank you! I am still experimenting on that in the moment. I still work on a deviation, which combines both impulsive and realistic lighting. A combination works better sometimes, because filling a whole picture with this style makes it look a bit... overburdened.

Yeah, sometimes it can cause the eye to not really know what it's looking at. But that just comes with experimentation.
