Description THIS IS JUST A SMALL PART OF AN OVERSIZED DEVIATION. PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINKS BELOW TO SEE THE REST OF THE PIECE.

The last part of the picture that I was working on.

I just wanted to implement some spectacular light effects, sorry if it looks too strange

The "Controlled By Confusion - Confused By Control"-slogan was taken from a progressive-thrash-band called "Mekong Delta". Thanks for the influence

Guess what the subterraneans have in their cases!

The mad scientist is based on a much older sketch of mine. Why would anybody build a subterranean rocket?

Another hint: Take a closer look at the reliefs! Especially you Germans will probably recognize some strange familiarity

o.o
The place to buy emotions.. the hands coming out of the wall... the 'popcorn is war'...the little hangman game...
I wish I had the energy to draw something this massive and the talent to put in all the little details.
I.. just.. wow. You've left me speechless. Several times. That's a difficult feat.

Well, before I had started working on this picture, I actually didn't think it would turn out that huge. All my earlier deviations are rather small and limited. Therefore I wanted to create something just a LITTLE bigger. The whole details turned out while shading and lining. And believe me, you could at least do THAT yourself, too. It's not too hard, really. Just take a likely small sheet of paper and start sketching. You don't have to do it all in one step. Just go over the whole page and create a very raw, sketchy image. Then go over it again and again as soon as you have new ideas. If you finally think that you've collected enough ideas you can start turning the sketch into a real picture. If you want to use a ballpoint-pen, just take a look at my tutorial (could be helpful for other media, too, though) [link] .

Then there's just two more things to do: Posting it here on dA and sending me a link

Thank you very much for all your encouraging comments and favorites! I feel much better now
