OHOHO! this image is super amazing, i like the way you did the render, i disliked the others cause it didn't have much effects laying around but they are still good about it, the girls needs to see this
hey girls, this artist made a cool render out of cosmo, and it seems he put the sfm because that's what relates too, i am gonna add this to the group

WHOA. This is absolutely amazing! I'm a long term fan of Cosmo, and I've always wanted a Cosmo model done right. I recently downloaded Blender, but I have no idea of where to look at to begin... so thank you so much! Do you have any plans to make a model for Adult Cosmo?Ā

Thanks! Yes, eventually I do plan to make an adult version, in fact my goal is to make all the Seedrians! I know it will be a lot of work, but it is possible!
In terms of where to start for Blender, I'd recommend finding all the tutorials on YouTube that you can possibly find (one excellent channel that I can think of off the top of my head is Darrin Lile) Seriously, that's how I learned most of what I know. Aside from video tutorials, there are also plenty of forums and written guides to help you along. It will require lots of patience and effort, but I highly encourage you to try, especially if you have any interest at all of becoming a 3D artist or designer!
Sorry for the uber long reply, but I hope this helps you! Thanks so much for your feedback, and good luck!

You're a hero, I say. Looking forward to any progress about this! A question: how long have you been learning Blender / working on this model?

That is a really good question... Honestly, it's been a few years since I first tried Blender. I think I started in 2013, and I still learning stuff to this day! Although if you look at the proper resources and follow good tutorials, I don't think it will take as long as I did. XD And really, the fundamentals are simple enough. Any 'pro' tactics or techniques are just an extension of those.
Now this model... I went through five or six versions before I arrived at a result that I actually liked. That's over about... 2 months? Maybe 3? Point is, it took longer than I wanted. Lol

Thank you for the info! I downloaded both Blender and this software called Autodesk 123D that a friend suggested me, but for now I'm only able to make very basic shapes.
P.S.: I made an Adult Cosmo drawing just yesterday: mauritaly.deviantart.com/art/C⦠what do you think of it?

Pardon my French, but holy shit, this model is amazing.
I also see Source Filmmaker in the tags right there, so I'm going to guess you're going to port it at some point?

Yep, in the long run, that is absolutely the goal! Sorting out the rigging at the moment. It can be challenging, and time consuming, but I'm pouring my heart and soul into this project. If I could enlist some help in the future, I definitely will, but in the meantime... Well, it's a learning experience. Lol
I appreciate your feedback! I really didn't see my 3D projects becoming the focus of my efforts, but recently that's all I've had the motivation to work on. So thank you!

Oh, man, well, you've got my upmost respect. I've never been able to figure out anything with Blender, so I sadly wouldn't be of any help.
Still, you've got someone who's watching closely now.One of my favorite characters getting a 3D model like this? Amazing. Thank you, very much.

I'm definitely going to be using this one for the project Dude I am so happy this is happening now. You made her the same quality as the other characters! Now we get to see what it's like for her to interact with the others!

I'm so glad you like it! I'm just as excited to see what the anumators of the community like yourself will do. Your kind words are a real motivator to push this project through to the end. And I'm honored that you'll be using this one for your project, really. Thank you.

Aw well of course! Man, you have no idea how BAD I wanted to have a Cosmo model to interact with Modern Tails. In fact when I heard someone would do it for me, it was actually the reason I came back to SFM fueled by passion. But unfortunately this person had a very tight schedule(not his fault). I always found it hard to figure out because how do you make it look good and suiting?
It was a dream I wanted to happen but couldn't imagine clearly. And now I see you do this and now it's happening! I swear it looks almost EXACTLY how I wanted her to look like in the film I have in my mind! What you have just done has really made that a possibility now and now I am thrilled to make my dreams come true now. ^^ You are immensely great at what you do and I think you deserve a big recognition for that. Thanks to you, I can now rest easier knowing that the key element to this project I've always wanted to make happen exists! So that's a one BIG thank you to you too.
