I decided to make it in 3D, and I'm about to go into much much more detail. Panel lines, rigged control surfaces, detailed interior... Stencils and decals... You know, just for funsies! lol

The idea is to make the comic frames semi 3D with drawn elements, sort of a composite like how the X-Tornado or Typhoon appeared in Sonic X. That hybrid look is pretty interesting, and I think I might use it. It will also help keep the aircraft proportions in check as I create each panel of the comic. If you guys are interested, I have several other models of aircraft that will be featured in Tails' comic arc, each with their own lore and special features. As I get closer to writing the actual comic, I'll most likely create a render of each one as I progress to a level of detail I'm happy with.
