Description
Playing with liquid aquarelles againA4, just Ecoline aquarelle used. I just love how the colors always turn out to be!
And also, if you could give me some suggestion what to paint next, I'd be glad ^^.
I won't be able to paint until next weekend, which makes me pretty sad but I hope that this month will be as productive for me as it started

Here from Thought I'd return the favor ^^
The snout of this seahorse might be a bit too long, but otherwise, I think you got the shape of this creature down very well!
For using traditional art, you sure have very nice, smooth, and vivid colors ^^ The color variation is very interesting and pretty to look at. It strikes me as a bit odd that most of it is orange though...Would look better if the colors were a bit more even, I think. The way the purple melds into the blue and then the green is very lovely though ^^
You have very good shading on this seahorse. All of it's "scales?" are shaded very well indeed which makes this seem less flat
The colorful bubbles add a very nice touch. I like the way you shaded them. However, some of the bubbles have too rough of edges.
It would be really nice also, if there was a nice deep sea background ^^
Overall, a very marvelous piece! You took a very nice, clean scan of it too ~ I'd love to see a tutorial about something like this That would be so interesting! Hope my critique helped you. Have a good day/night

I wanted it to be orange as a whole in the first place but then i changed my mind and added those colors!
I'm really happy that you like my work. About the bubbles.. well I struggled with shape in some of them and the paint already dried out, that's why there are such edges
I'm just too scared to paint backgrounds
I'd like to thank you for your comment and I hope that you have a nice day too!

Hi, I'm from .
That is a colorful seahorse you have . It looks like it could be in a children's book or it could be a good picture to hang in the house
. The colors blend into each other nicely and I like how the warm colors turn into cool colors at the bottom, nice contrast
.
The skin texture is spot on from that shading. I can see some wrinkles and light glares showing the bumps of the skin. I just didn't notice the light blue fin. It was camouflaging with the white paper.
I don't have much to say in improvements. Maybe drawing the warm colored bubbles at the bottom with the warm colored ones at the top can make a good contrast. Other than that it seems nice I'm adding it to my favorites.

Oh, I am really appreciate your comment! Thank you!
I'm glad that you think it is nice I guess it would just end in my cupboard and I will forget about it, though
I'll definitely look at the colors from more colorful part of view of the color theory
Thank you one more time for your kind word! It means really much to me ^^

First off, I love how vibrant the colors are. It really adds to the overall message that is 'colorful imagination'. Sure, one could say that dull colors are still technically colors in their own right, but with more vibrant colors, I feel the message just comes across better as a whole, especially when set against a solid white background. The fact that you chose a seahorse is also fairly fitting too when taking into account how colorful creatures within the ocean can be.
The shading is also well-executed overall. Some of the bubbles also appear to have lineart surrounding them though, which is a little strange to me considering the seahorse appears lineless. Nonetheless, the bubbles definitely add to the message more too. Without them, "Colorful Imagination" as a title would be non-applicable to the background.
The only other thing I can comment on is the seahorse's colors. As it is, while the bottom half of contains a diverse color spectrum, the upper half is dominated by a spectrum of orange colors. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I figured I'd point it out anyway. The main background's white though, so I could see why adding yellower hues in particular would be iffy. Yellow + white as colors tend to screw with the drawing's visibility, especially with a lineless drawing like this one.
As a whole, this drawing was executed wonderfully. There were just a couple of minor aspects I wanted to touch upon in order to make this comment more constructive. As a person inexperienced with watercolor painting, it's nice to see how other people execute this type of art.
(By the way, I came from ProjectComment . I decided to comment on this piece because of how quickly it caught my attention)

I would like to thank you very much for taking the time to comment!
I am glad tht you like my artwork. about the bubbles - they were quite hard for me to draw, some of them have some kind of "outline" because I was trying to get the circle shape for too long and the paint dried out and then it just... well
I'd definitely focus more on the colors next time I'm really happy you pointed things ut for me.
Have a nice day! ^^

I can see where you're coming from in terms of the bubbles. Geometric shapes can be quite difficult to draw correctly, especially when doing it freehand. Overall, I'm glad my comment was helpful to you.

Is that watercolor? The control you have over the colors (including how they blend and fade into one another and compliment each other) is fantastic!

You have other possibilities with aquarelles or advantages over pencils
It will be nice to see your future works made with them.
