the title is not from my idea
I went to college this Monday, and on the middle of the way, I saw a banner of Indonesia Japan fair, and the title is Japanesia [link] (sorry, it's in Indonesian)

and when I read the title word, a pic of Japan and Indonesia came across my head, and I feel an urge to draw this immediately ;w;b
ASDFGH this pic is totally different from what I was imagining that time.... it supposed to be Japan and Indonesia have their fingers connected to each other, where Japan is on the top side, and Indonesian is on the bottom side. Japan wears a kimono, and Indonesia wears a kebaya, and Japanese pattern as the bg on Japan's side, and Indonesian's for Indo's side
and then, batik kimono came across my head. it's really exist, I don't make this up. in my opinion, batik kimono is a collaboration between Japanese and Indonesian cultures, where Indonesian batik pattern is applied to Japanese kimonos. (here's an example of batik kimono: [link] ).
and because Indonesian pattern already become the kimono's pattern, so I put Japanese pattern as the bg
and the pose....ASDFGH why do they look like a couple?! what am I drawing....OTL

I draw Indonesia based on Himaruya's design of Indonesia (she's the third one)

this is my very very first APH fanart anyway...excluding chibi doodles I did with my friend today
