just a reference for the robe *but getting very lazy to draw this suddenly**bricked* usually he wears on his way to or from the academy, and take it off once he's on academy except cold seasons

I think a robe does suit him. It was far more widely used for travels than caps or cloaks. They were usually a sign of divinity, marked with an emblem and color of a house. Robes were heavy for the winter, but had inner layers that peeled to keep an inner cooler climate.
I only know cause my own OC ALWAYS wears a cloak, but it is marked with nothing but dirt and grim.
