edit: fix the fin line on the bubbles

a quick pic I did for today QwQ

well this pic quite illustrates what happened to me today. no, I don't have my neck wounded, but my throat feels hurt. my voice is hoarse QAQ how can I suppose to sing on my musical performance tomorrow? OTL

anyway.... I choose my OC to represent my condition here. his name is Theodore .

below is about his story, so skip if you don't want to read XD
the unique thing from him is that he cannot swim, but he has the most beautiful voice from all mermans and mermaids, even the mermaids-whose voices are usually adored more than mermans-feel jealous of him. his voice also attracts sea creatures, they fell in love with his voice

actually people of his race ever in dilemma whether they should thrown him away or not, as he cannot swim, which is a shame for the race, but has the most beautiful voice, as it was one of their glory for being the race. but finally they decide to throw him away, as they think that a merman that cannot swim is the same as a dead merman.

they are about to kill Theo, but he was saved by a sea creature from his death. they fled from the mermans and mermaids, but unfortunately, the creature which brought Theo into safety were killed. Theo was stranded into the shore, and was found by an old lady. she then adopted him as her own grandchild, named him Theodore, which means 'Gift of God'.

Theo is a sweet young man. his voice tends to make people feel calm, and not rarely people visit him to tell their problems and to seek comfort from Theo.
as a merman, Theo depends on water, and he has a weak body. he often spend his time near the shore, submerging himself into shallow sea water. sometimes he sings, preferably alone at night, and his voice attracts the night sea creatures to gather around him.

although he is weak, he is very scary when he's angry. as his nature as a merman, there will be a storm if he's in rage, which is why he was taught to be a very very very patient person. (probably, he's the most patient OC I have ever had)
although he was thrown away by his race, he was loved by people on the village where he lives. his only regret is that being born as a merman, and he wish to be an ordinary human. he's one of the few from his race who prefer to live with humans to his race.

if he was given a choice between a voice and an ability to swim, he will definitely choose his voice. while death is determined by the ability to swim by his race, his is a voice.

anyway.....
