Great, genialissimo idea! On the dinobot page i spoke about another possibility. Transformers, specially dinobot in a trench war style. What an idea... transformers in renaissance...
I have see somewhere a project of the transformers in the industrial revolution, steam time, mode. But i don't remind me where.

IDW comics ran an alternate universe miniseries called "Hearts of Steel" once with the TFs active in the Victorian era - you might be thinking of that.

Awesome!! Looks like an 18th century (or roman/viking-like) transormer :] Awesome design and work! The pose is great and the proportions are good as well! :] The left leg however seems a bit bent inwards.
