The robot mode is a scan of a regular pencil sketch whilst the tank mode and handwriting are taken directly from images of Leonardo da Vinci's sketchbooks. Afterwards I just adjusted the colours to brown in PhotoShop for that old look.

Oh, right. It's Da Vinci's Tank. It's not set in the Industrial Age, It's set in the Renaissance Period.

I haven't decided whther to introduce Arcee during the "TF: Renaissance" story as this is set in an alternate Marvel UK G1 universe and she wasn't part of the original Ark crew there (being constructed specifically as part of the Autobots' efforts to improve relationships with humans during the 90's - women's pressure groups complained that all transformers appeared to be male). Since the Autobots are active for a long period of time before the Decpticons are brought back online, however, she may make an appearance as a newly built character on Earth.

The Dinobots are remodelled in an Aztec style and appear during the second book - "TF: New World" (see the synopsis elsewhere)

But Arcee appeared from nowhere it seems, so there is some idea that she came by accident or something. As for the all Aubots appear to male, I tend to have thought that one Dinobot was female even though he wasn't - Swoop. I think it was because of that Power Rangers show that was on before the Transformers, so I was convinced when I was eight that Swoop was a girl becuase I liked the Pink Ranger and the Pink Ranger had a pteradacyl Zoid... I had some weird ideas back them as well as the idea that Big Bird was a girl. I was very shocked to find out years later that Big Bird was a male charcter.

I'd love to see the Aztec style Dinobots - love that whole Mesoamerican style. I wonder, is Grimlock going to modeled after Quezocoatlus, one of the head gods in Aztec mythology? Or will Swoop be modeled after him?

Swoop's probably more appropriate to be believed to represent Quetzalcoatlus by the Aztecs. I'll start on the Dinos once there's a few of the first book's cast dealt with.

this is based on the mobile armored chariot designed by Da Vinci... he got the idea from watching a turtle.
