Description
What with all the fuss about TransTech thanks to those proto shots and other goodies surfacing I thought I’d take the opportunity to show off some more of my TT character revamps…Botanica was a commission for someone’s TT fanfic.

This is a very good Botanica recreation. I like her claws on her hands, that resemble gardening tools. I can imagine her going all Wolverine on everybody.
If you haven't watched the series of Beast Machines, Botanica was a kind and gentle creature, but could unleash a powerful rage if she had to. She ended up in a relationship with Rattrap.

gardening tools wasn't an original intention (they were just modified from her claws in BM) but I like your thinking

I always wondered why Hasbro never made a figure of her for Beast machines or when BM was out. Seems odd ot have a character in the show and no figure!

Who knows? Arcee suffered a similar fate (although at least a prototype figure was made before being abandoned - I've never seen anything for Botanica) :shrugs:
There were plenty of characters who only ever appeared in the comics way back in the day who never found their way into the toyline either - you'll see several of them redesigned and kicking around my gallery somewhere

Wow, this is amazing o.O Everytime I try to draw a transformer, my mind just blows up. And not only have you done it, but you've done it awesomely! Her vehicle mode is amazing, and I love the colours.

I think I have seen this before.
Nice job, especially with Botanica's robot mode. I have drawn a pic showing her with legs and I'll need to upload that in the near future.

Damn it... Oh well, hopefully someone will try to emulate those guys at Hasbro to do something like that, if they're smart enough

As much as I didn't like Botanica in BM, this design is really cool! I think it would have fit her well and made her more enjoyable ^_^! Even if she has kinda a creepy way there... She used to be all soft and sweet in BM, but I see her more as an actual fighter like this, which I like. She can show she DOES have some guts

Hmmm I dunno about buying the DVD's. I'm a HUGE obsessive fan of Beast Wars, but BM isn't quite worth buying. However, I DO think I saw some DVD's on Amazon.com. Could be wrong though lol
She wasn't much of a fighter, more like... someone trying to tell the Maximals that turning Cybertron into a nature paradise was the way to go. When plants got hurt she usually did... well, you get my drift LOL
Thus why I definitly prefer her the way you made her there. She looks like she could definitly kick some major butt at last! XD
