Description
What with all the fuss about TransTech thanks to those proto shots and other goodies surfacing I thought I’d take the opportunity to show off some more of my TT character revamps…I couldn’t really design a super hi-tech stereo for Soundwave since some of them look that way nowadays anyway! Laserbeak now transforms into the remote control.

Personally, I can't stand the Transtech designs, and was more than happy to have RiD in their place.
Point of saying this? Your Transtech Soundwave is over a thousand times better than the real Transtech Soundwave. Now that was just vomit in a bucket.
Your's is a much more acceptible Soundwave. Heh. You can actually recognize him, for one.

I loved RiD (it produced the best Optimus and Megs figures ever IMO) but I'd have also been delighted with TT too personally (I seem to be one of the few people who really like the styling of BM). Glad you like Soundwave here

heh. Actually, while I wouldn't call myself a fan of Beast Machines, I've never had much problem with the toys. (The writing of the show however... it was well written, but butchered the characters horribly, and did a lot of things that didn't make sense to the characters. If it stood alone as it's own series, then I'd not have had any problems at all) In Fact, the Motorcycle Drone is one of my altime favorite TFs. Just, the transtech designs that Draxall Jump did... they just ain't transformers, no matter how cool the toys would have been. They look more like transforming Evangelions on steroids. But that's my opinion. A lot of people like them, and I'm down with that. I still think your designs... all of them are an improvement over those. They have more character, and actually are remenescent of the TFs they represent.

I probably would have pushed the designs further but they were for a contest and I wanted to keep a reasonable resemblance to the original characters (looking through them, Swoop was probably about as extreme as I got) in order to maximise the votes (based on comments I'd seen about TT I suspected a lot of people wouldn't go for 'way out' ideas that looked nothing like their namesakes)... it didn't work - two of them came joint fourth in the end

What's funny is there actually are design scetches for a TT Soundwave, but yours is so much cooler.

They are bringing him into Cybertron/Galaxy Force. In fact, I believe he's already out in japan. Turns into a stealth jet, and still has Laserbeak.
