Kathleen the Blade has long been a character of my imagination since senior year of highschool. Shes evolved so much in three years that i really need to give her the credit she deserves. This is Kat's second "stage" in her transformation over the course of her story.Related content

This is incredible.
This picture inspired me to write a book which currently has 42348 words (still in progress) and should get published in 2010 or 2011, depending on how long the process takes. ^-^ So, thanks a LOT for making this!

Wow, This sets a feeling that is very familiar to me. Something to do with how I feel towards magic and swords? I remember it feeling serene like this...
Then I think how cool it would be to visit a magic n' swords place, not to stay just visit

Now I love this; it's very nice on the eyes, the characters gesture is bold and well drawn. And the colouring doesn't distract you too much from what really matters, the lineart.

wow, i did just the same kind of thing you did. i imagined a character a breed. and he is about 7years old. that i have imagined him. he's changed alot. he used to be like a sonic the hedgehog looking guy. but i changed him to an aurthro kinda like yours... NICE WORK!

there isnt a link, her story is not published im sorry. I may or may not web-publish it but i actually intent on making this a TV series at a later date with my film company you'll see snippets of stories as told via the pictures but i like to be a bit mysterious

hehe, i like mystery in chars. makes them more intriguing, and makes viewers more drawn to them..hehe any way i like it. very very beautiful. i love the work and general idea of it. only thing i saw thats falted is the darker shading in the upper left hand corner but... it doesnt at all make the pic worse. its all around great. i especially like the water. and the nice detail on and slight sharpness on her. beautiful^^

O.O... Wow. So deep, so enchanting, so... beautiful! I don't suppose there's a story to go with this little piccy, hmm? Dang. I hate it when this happens. I WANNA WRITE!!! <.<...>.>...>.<... Ah, what the heck? I got nuthin' better to do.
Kathleen the Blade was deep in a sort of forest, surrounded by beech, maple, and ash. The sword at her side, her constant companion and namesake, clicked faintly as the fox wandered aimlessly through the trees. The sun's half-light filtered through the leaves above her, throughing her glossy red fur into alternating shadow and light as she made her way gradually toward the sound of water. Bushy red tail swinging gently from side to side as she walked, Kathleen eventually found the stream. Clear, cold, and fresh, the little brook was a welcome respite from the warm summer day. The leathers the fox wore(sp?) shifted smoothly as Kathleen rose to continue on her wandering way. Coming to the edge of the wood, the fox blinked in the bright sunlight, though not stopping. A glance at her surroundings told the warrior the area, a half-circle of boulders and a small feild, had not seen a single living thing in many a year. Slowly drawing her blade, Kathleen sat, chin on the hilt. "Will I ever find it?"

its made with watercolor... which when i use real media its my prime choice of meaterial to work with, second is marker but i dont use that nearly as often as i use watercolor. This one is entirely watercolor with the exception of the linework which is micron pen
