I AM NOT AGAINST CHRISTIANS OR ANY OTHER RELIGIOUS GROUP. I ONLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH FUNDAMENTALIST FRINGE "CHRISTIANS" WHO THINKS ITS OKAY TO PULL CRAP LIKE THIS.Being the agnostic/catholic that I am this was about how I reacted to the may 21st hullabaloo. Meant to be taken as a joke, i have nothing against anyone of any religious faith but i'm pretty sure everyone will agree with me that this was insane.

Good lord that was four years ago and it made so much sense at the time. Now I'm in the thrall of Catechism classes doing a full conversion but... eh I'd chalk up the phrasing to "I don't know for certain but I'm going to follow this because I like it." TBH I still fully admit I don't KNOW, but I feel it's the right path for me. Hope that makes more sense?

oh indeed and its quite true, but i only intended to single out fundamentalists, not christians in general. Most christians i knew even baptist ones, dismissed camping's claims. So yeah there are DEFINATELY unhinged people in faitful circles and most agnostics/atheists have had to deal so much with the crazies some of them usually dont even wish to associate with christians or the faithful in general. I like to bridge the gap, I have always beleived in God, but I've seen so many conflicting views in christianity alone, I can't really, nor want to, believe that there is one right and the rest are wrong. It all seems rather petty to me. But yeah usually when I go on religious benders against certain people its almost ALWAYS fundamentalists. I don't have issues with people whom I know are christian, or even fellow catholics. I just have issue with the idiots of ANY religion that give the rest of the faiths a bad name, same can be said for Al Queda, just because your a muslim =/= being a terrorist. Just like being a christian =/= being a member of the KKK.

Of course, in real life, Eddie looks a thousand times better than Harold Camping. If for nothing else than Eddie's lack of atrocious sideburn (mutton chop) action.
Of course, it WAS now, in retrospect, a "silent rapture" (which sounds like a video game sequel series to Silent Hill) and that we should all still expect to be incinerated in Hellfire come October 21. I shall be busy that day making plans for October 22.

People need to understand that a religion in the end is to bring good out of humanity and not to be outright preached as THE only means of salvation. I find it to be a false tradition. In the end they should be opinions, regardless of being true or not they are not meant to hurt people, just be discussed.
People like 'This guy' who preach "Be a christian or rot in hell!" are not true christians or the like. People need to respect eachothers opinions, I've never heard of a recognised religion wanting suffering out of humanity, not even being an athiest. Am I right?

As for May 21.. I almost forgot about it entirely.. but when I remembered, I started randomly wishing people I knew a happy doomsday (jokingly of course).
