Description It's a stack of cockatoos! I'm owned by a Moluccan, I would absolute love to work with palm cockatoos some day, but I doubt that will become a reality. They are all such incredible birds.

Prints available: foxloft.com/image/cockatoostac…

There's a more comprehensive list at the link (including alternative names) but from top to bottom: Goffin's, sulfur-crested, gang-gang, galah, major mitchell's, umbrella, moluccan, red-tailed black, and palm cockatoos

awesome pic! i am owned my a major mitchell cockatoo!
but i am pretty sure (i have seen all of these birds in person) that the order needs to be palm cockatoo, red-tail-black cockatoo, moluccan, umbrella, sulphur crested cockatoo (normal or lesser), Major Mitchell, gang-gang, goffin's corella, galah.

That's a very nice stack of cockatoos there. Very beautiful, and it would make sense because the palm cockatoo is the largest of the species after all.

Are they supposed to be to scale? I thought a sulphur crested cockatoo was bigger than a galah. (We get lots of wild ones here)

Love the pic though, especially the rendering on the red-tailed black and palm cockatoo.

It's a lesser sulfur-crest as opposed to a greater, which are considerably smaller, though they're not too far off in size! I also kind of went with 'extremes' of the size rangers. I worked with a little sulfur girl who was tiny, so I was inspired by her Β  Thank you!

Ah I see, I knew the greater was bigger than that. I guess the wild ones we get here are the greater, we get heaps of them around here!

It's totally worth it. I'm used to it but when I think about it I'm really glad I get to see them around a lot like that. We also get galahs, corellas, rainbow lorikeets (heaps of them) rosellas, and many other non-parrot birds.
