Description This was taken this past weekend, on a trip to visit friends with and .

was driving us through the valley when this amazing sunset started to unfold. Being on a dangerous part of the highway, we knew there was no way we could stop the car and get out - so I rolled down the window and took a bunch of photos as the car zoomed along the road. I didn't expect to get such a great shot! At best, I hoped to capture the colors of the sunset, and the way the fresh snow glowed blue on the hills. We all agreed that this was the prettiest sunset we'd seen in a long time.

Wow, that's an amazing shot! Especially since it was taken out a moving car window I think the colours are just wonderful, good job!

That's a pretty darn good capture you took while in a moving vehicle. Good job. It's beautiful and fire and ice is quite appropriate too

Thank you Lori! The saying "pictures don't do it justice" is cliche', but it's so true. Those mango colored clouds drifted down into the valley, and painted the fog all pink around us. It was like driving through a dream!
