Man's hips are not all that hard... But how about a man's chest... It's dificult to draw a lean muscular mans chest.

Surprisingly enough, a lot of people asked for man hips tutorial, so what may be easy for you and I isn't for others. And I can vouch for the PROCESS of making the tutorial being long and effort filled.
But if I get the time to do another one I will do my best to work around to other parts of a man's body.

omg this is an awsome and GREAT tutorial, i am SO saving and faving this pic both, to use for my own reference/help, and to try and help give it exposure to help other people. this is really fantastic. hips are HARD to draw and differential between girls and guys for me, this helps tons. sankuu so much.

Omgyay too perfect! I love it! I will print it out and tape it into my sketchbook for future reference! I have so much trouble drawing manhips...guh...if I don't make them to wide, I make them too narrow argh. But this will help lots!
Now please do one of the wimmins for us...I'd be eternally grateful! >_< I can't draw either gender's hips!

It's wonderful that artists like you put tutorials up like that. RAWR I hope it results in less crap! I don't mind guys that have a bit of feminine shape (but they get tiring after a while) but I do think that hips are a very important sign to which gender a character belongs to. Nice anatomy work too ^^ I should send you something.... my mom has this book of 'male nudes', and I made like... 90 scans.. if you want I'll mail them

You know, if you flick your eyes back and forth between the male and female hip bones it looks kinda like they're flapping! Fly away little hip bones! FLY~! XD

Nicely doodled! Though you don't cover fat placement (that just gets a wee bit trickier), you do have the skin outline over the bum as being right where the pudge would sit. :3 Nice, nice. It'll make for a good reference...

Oh I SOOOOO AGREE with the "adam's line" thing. When I took life drawing, oh how I loved that line...course I just called it...something else.....X3. But oh, the leaving out of the naughty bits. perfectly ok with that. it isnt that loverly when you really have to look at it and draw it for an hour FOR A CLASS. XP BTW, love your work...not just when you are drawing lovely men hips, but I have to admit, that is one of my favorite parts! XD
