*recovers to repeat the process a few more times again!* Ok WOW! first thing to come to mind, then you did this in OC!?!?! *ENVY* XD I'm just kidding but wow hun that's remarkable I can't survive in OC XD at least not for coloring I'm spoilt on the options photoshop allows me to have XD This is AWESOME! You're (as far as I know) the only one to have done him in pure earth tones! You've got him grinning from ear to ear I can't get over this its remarkable!!! everything about it, those glyphs, I'm curious now everyone has reasoning for sticking something in a picture, the one on his shoulder is vaguely familiar but I can't place it. I'll have to get ya to tell me about them I really like how you portrayed him here! his wings not being perfect with a hole in them and some rips! That's character! shows the hardships he's survived and overcome in his life. Him standing upon water (swats mac for his brief thought of wanting to be like jesus) almost to me and to mac symbolizes mastery of the elements (quirks a brow at him) The starlite night behind him is very complimenting and I think adds to the picture, most journies begin under the stars. I keep looking at his tail the pattern that belts across it, it reminds the two of us of an owl, m'dear you hit the nail on the head with that one the owl is one of our shared totems, to be more specific the great horned owl. Their feathers are barred much like the pattern you have done on his tail. The red beads, one amongst each strand of beads, red given its a color of passion I think represents his love for his mate the gentle earth tones that follow to me seem to "ground" him in a way I like that. This whole piece is just jawdropping stunning hun! I really do love everything about this!!! THank you so much for entering!!! this is just goregous!!!

What a beautiful piece. He’s got so much character in his face and what great form. I really like the little bend in his wing. You pulled off the transparency of the membrane wonderfully.
