It's okay to ship yourself with fictional characters, but PLEASE, just please, don't think that they're real or some other nonsense.

I know this person (won't mention username) who likes to ship themself with several cartoon characters. And guess what? They like to act like they are married to them!! I know it the marriages aren't real, but that's pretty much a great example of polygamy.Β

I sort of believe certain characters are "real" but in theory (e.g. spirituality, multiverse, and ghost), which isn't enough. It really depends.

Totally agreed! It's fine to self-ship with fictional characters and have crushes on them, but it would be totally unhealthy if someone took their fictional crush to the next level.

I won't name names, but I recently met a user who seemed to think she was Mangle from FNAF, shipped herself with Foxy, and drew pictures bashing a friend of mine for shipping her OC with Foxy on THREE different occasions! This is a good example of how people can go much too far with this.
