Description
This is a color commission that I actually originally drew back some time in 2007-08. It was part of an audio comic series that expanded on evens in the EVANGELION the END OF EVANGELION Movie. I've shared some of the black and white versions in older posts. I did the panel art for three separate episodes. Unfortunately, you can't find them online anymore. The creator had to remove them after the official EVA Rebuild project was announced.

Recently, the lady who hired me for that project hired me to color one of her favorite images from the series. At first, I thought that would be an easy thing. She lost much of the original art during a computer crash. While I found my paper copies, I couldn't find the scans from this particular episode, and my scanner wasn't working.

I actually took a picture of the paper drawing and emailed that to myself. I then used that as a guide to digitally redraw the ink work with my tablet. I did only the lines I originally used and added nothing to it. I then colored the image of an older Asuka and Shinji.
