Description
This is Jak from the uber popular video game series Jak and Daxter. This design is from the 4th game Jak X Combat Racing.I really liked Jak's look in this game. I had fun with Daxter. I drew him with the goggles down and ready to go. Notice the keychain charm. That's the symbol of Jak's family.
I got to say that this game isn't my favorite in the series, but BOY is it addictive. My biggest beef is with that bloody Peacemaker shot. I get hit with that ALL THE TIME!! Once I was hit with it 5 times in a row. I hate it because it really feels like I'm being punished for playing well.
This like pretty much all my work was hand drawn, but colored via Paintshop Pro Vr.7. The background is a screenshot of the game.

Well, my avatar is sort of my logo and also my tattoo. It's a fox shaped design and it also has a meaning of a ying yang. I added the scratches to look like an old samurai film or cowboy movie.

I love Jak and Daxter! I have always had a thing for Jak... he's sexy. You really captured his bad-ass attitude in this pic, and though I have never played the racing version, I do really like this picture. Great work!!!

Is this game a must get? I'm thinking of gettin' in really soon... man, great artwork! I've loved this series from the begining.. but, i wish Jak had at least the same hair as in the 3rd game, he kinda loox goffy in this game XD

I think Jak looks pretty wicked in this one. I like how you can costumes the cars. It's not my favorite in the series, but I play it all the time, because I can just sit down and kill five minutes by playing a coarse.
I would recommend renting it. Takes a bit to get the feel for the game.

Agree with you on the Peacemaker, though I don't think I ever got hit five times in a row. Though even if I had I still would'a creamed the compitition!

I learned the best way to race is to not stay too far ahead of the others. That way if you see a Peacemaker round coming just slam on the, breaks, let the other guy get hit, then slam back down on the gas.

Yeah... but somehow that never helps me. I look behind me, then they pass me, get blown up. Then I get hit with some other shit like seekers or something like that ><

That's why you need a good supply of defensive weapons.

Yeah, though I always end up using it up on the first volly then I don't have any Red for the next volly. -_-

Which is why you almost don't use it for teh first volley. That won't kill you and if you are ahead you can get the health first. Save it for the second unless you are in a red eco rich area.

I do that somtimes... unless I have a shield and there is no way I can stop in time for a Peacemaker. Then I just use sheild.
