I saw a few days ago that it's official and the Naruto fillers will be ending in early 2007. They are finally going back to the official manga story.If you aren't up on the fillers and manga to date a LOT of this will be over your head.
After I heard this I got the idea for this drawing. It started as just Naruto and Sakura, but quickly blew into the whole cast. I was going to include the adults, but thought that this was going to be long enough.
You know Tenten would be sad since the only time we have gotten to know her was through the fillers.

What tenten said. Seriously, the post-time jump stuff tends to suck. And when I say tends to suck.... I mean it's refuses to coinside with facts set before the jump. 'least we got the name Minato Namikaze out of it.

Like it said the fillers were just there to fill in space. They have noting to do with the story. It happens all the time in long running animes.

when I wrote 'refuses to coincide with facts before the jump', I meant pre-jump manga and post-jump manga, as well as the anime. And several longer anime and manga that have fillers with plot development keep it within the characteristics of that person. Kenshin, Yuyu hakusho, and Shaman King name three that add filler with char development but keep them pretty much the same as their manga incarnations.

The fillers last for quite a while. They start around 135 and don't end until about 225.
Everyone is mostly talking about episodes where they shine in some way.

this was so funny. for some reason, i get really hyper whenever i go on this site. don't know why! tenten was my fav, since she's my fav character, and u only really get too see her in the fillers. i have to go watch those episodes you mentioned now (scuttles off to watch episodes)
