I saw a few days ago that it's official and the Naruto fillers will be ending in early 2007. They are finally going back to the official manga story.If you aren't up on the fillers and manga to date a LOT of this will be over your head.
After I heard this I got the idea for this drawing. It started as just Naruto and Sakura, but quickly blew into the whole cast. I was going to include the adults, but thought that this was going to be long enough.
You know Tenten would be sad since the only time we have gotten to know her was through the fillers.

Yeah, Tenten is so under appreciated in this series. I don't see why he creates so many characters, but wont take the time to explore them more.
I think Bleach has a better balance for the characters. You don't know everything about everyone, but you do know a little bit about everyone. That's in the main story line and not filler episodes.

Lol, I was so glad when the fillers stopped! Actually, all my Narutard friends and I did a happy dance in my Drawing 2 class. It was a very interesting class period. It proved that my friends don't read the manga and we found out that another girl in the class was a "dubber". *shudders*

Some of the fillers were alright. Mostly the short ones. Those long arcs were just weird.

I don't know what Kishimoto has against Tenten. He just never uses her. If it wasn't for the anime we would never see her fights.

I know! I've given up watching the anime though because the episodes come out really slow now. Even though Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source, it says that Kishimoto said, "I like her [Tenten's] design." I'm just screaming at the computer, "THEN WHY DON'T YOU USE HER!"

Glad you enjoyed the picture. I liked that episode. Naruto's reactions at the funeral remind me of something that happened at my uncle's wedding. I wanted to laugh so bad, but I had to spend the entire ceremony holding it in. It's a long story.
