Looks like my Hayai downing his apple n' oatmeal XDD
I can't get hay every time (expensive and poor quality), so I stick with all sort of vegs to compensate, dried corn leaves, and oatmeal, which my fatso ADORES.
And he HOGS the plate just like Cookie does XD
Poor Poppy, I feel for her. She deserves to have a plate to hog!

petco had these pretty big bags of timothy on sale (buy 1 get 1 free), so i was able to get them a good 5 month supply for only around $8

I sent the baby away today so I only have 3 pigs nao!
We have a sort of Black Friday today in Mexico, so I'll make sure I get PLENTY of food for them boys!
I was meaning - you have 1 plate for 2 pigs? Mine have 1 for 3 pigs (now one for 2 pigs! and the other one lives apart)
The other day I was imagining one of your Piggie Problems with Gai chasing Poppy, and Cookie looking at Hayai in disgust (lol, my baby joys are a couple of romantic hip-moving purrers that only have seen females in photos XD)

yup - the piggies only have one place to eat for the both of them (they have a container for pellets, and i'm buying them a hay holder for their hay). so they'll have a total of 2 places to eat from lol

YAY! Mine BOTH hog the plate at once - Kaminari's in the adolescent phase when he wants to rule over the cage, and Hayai is not enjoying it one jot... XD

it's fine that they tip the bowl over - they eat all the hay, so i don't mind ^^ and that way they're able to eat all the stuff at the bottom too

My piggie pulls all the hay out of her rack thing that hangs on the side of her cage and then sleeps on it and also pees on it like she's marking her teritory even though we only have one other pet and the rabbit and her see eachother probably five times a week.

that's how poppy is, actually (eat first, ask questions later). cookie is actually very picky, except when it comes to timothy hay. nobody better get between her and her timothy hay

Mine are picky, too, sometimes... but always about other things. Sometimes they don't like their carrots, sometomes they don't like their fennel .. etc.
But I guess those things just don't taste the same the whole year over.
