Parameters are given only for the purposes of study and tweaking.
Caramel Comet was created in Apophysis 7x.15.
It's a tweak of the beautiful, fiery flame Singe , by my friend Cameron Wethly (CMWVisualArts ).
Since I only did a small amount of post-Apophysis manipulation on this fractal, I'm going to give you the parameters.
I'd love to see your wonderful tweaks of this flame!
Please also link back to this page if you post your tweak.

Thanks you!!! It's interesting how the most difficult fractals can end up being so nice. I almost gave up on this one - but I'm not a person to give up easily.

This one is fantastic! Love the warm colours and composition - it's been very popular! Congratz!

Thank you, Leonie! This one started out as a bit of an ugly duckling. I had to re-render it. Even then, I had some doubts. It got better and better, though. It had good potential in it, I would say. I'm very glad that you like it!

That's one of the reasons I do a number of views of the initial parameters that I make up! It's amazing what a little tweaking can do!

Stellar!!
The small red curls help to accentuate the bursting motion of the star-like formations.

Luckily, teeth are not needed to eat a fractal!

How often would you eat grocery store broccoli or cauliflower even if you could?
I once wrote in a comment that I saw all kinds of healthy vegetables in sombody's fractal. I never got a reply. Somebody didn't like vegetables, I suppose!

Thank you, my friend! I hope it's not too blinding in the middle. I tried to find just the right balance somewhere between dull/boring and eye-singing. The bright spot is there in the original, but I made it larger and brighter using a photo editor.

lol, cool... reminds of a scene in "Lucifer's Hammer" (book by Larry Niven and jerry Pournelle) where they illustrate what it would be like if Earth was hit by a comet, and they use Hot Fudge Sundae as the example for the comet...

And I thought I was being original! LOL! This is interesting to hear, though. In the news, they said that a 25 kilometer wide meteorite crater has just been discovered in northern Canada. Can you imagine the size of that thing?

yow1 yeah that's a big one alright... I have to guess its an old crater since we would have felt something like that...
its still original, caramel isn't fudge!
LOL

I guess you're right about caramel and fudge! I did a Google image search for "caramel" before deciding on my title, just to make sure that I had the right word for the colour of the comet. I almost passed out when I saw all the goodies! If you're not too hungry, have a look!
