Description
Updated to 1960x1470 resolution when downloaded
From the hidden depth (of the border) of the Mandelbrot set. Ultra Fractal. Playing with "zooming beside" in "Julia-like barriers" (see article 12 in my Chaotic series of fractal articles (<- right click) This motive was one of the winners in the FAME contest 2001 In that version I used "Smothed Iteration" filter In this version no filter is used and the escape radius = 2 (Bailout = 4) instead of escape radius = 10 (Bailout = 100). Resized in PhotoShop. No filter or post-processing. Play and have fun with the parameter file below:

the offset of b&w with the color is just brilliant. Great job on this.

I'm very honored You are welcome to use it as wallpaper if you want.
It's the style without any filters. Only the the hidden forms of the Mandelbrot set and its equivalents for higher degee polynomials More will come. Be patient..

Really cool. I like the gradient used. Looking at your mapping, is that location in or near the west midget? I have a lot of fun exploring over there. Nice work.
