Then it's partly deviantArt's fault if they don't moderate it. It's also partly the community's fault for not reporting a nine year old when they repeatedly tell others they're nine.

You'll get banned if they find out that you're underage no matter what. And it happens really fast too. I hunt for art theifs and report them, and it took about a two weeks for a stolen picture to get banned, but I sent a coppa(the type of report you file for underage people on the site) report for a 12 year old that was here, and she got banned the next morning.
So, yeah. I think it's a good rule too. Generally people at that age aren't mature enough to be on the internet without supervision. And then when you think of the things you can see by just searching up a reference image for a pokΓ©mon. Yuck.

Well there are filters, but....some people don't label their artwork properly. Once I was searching for a reference sheet for the Vocaloid CUL and it came up with a great big ass.
