wow..i really like this!! theres so much symbolism crammed into this picture!! i know uve heard a lot about the tape around ur mouth..which i think is really an awesome touch!! i also like how ur hair is so colorful and the cloth is so plain..its like ur tryin to keep ppl from lookin at ur weight an keepin them focused on ur hair!! i really like this!! i definatly agree with wut u said bout eating disorders..tis a sad thing!! this is really awesome tho..great concept!!

Many of my (psychology) professors often say that artists can often portrey human emotion and problems in a better way then psychologists can.
This is one of those pieces that falls into that category, although it also shows that art fools the viewer, as it will always be between realism and fantasy, showing one and hiding the other.
This portreys eating problems nicely and yet it hides so much of it.
Obviously i like the dual feeling this piece gives me.

although I can't relate to the issue as much as the persons who have gone through it all, I like the photo because it deals with such an issue with simplicity. I like how the measuring tape doesn't allow one to speak... and how body is hidden behind the 'curtain'. oh and - your hair looks wonderful against the green.

The symbolism is fabulous, the colors are perfect (as everyone has already made known the red hair is especially gorgeous) I love that instead of distracting the viewer with clothes you've opted for a subtle green cloth...it's just overall a great work of art.

I love that the tape is around her mouth instead of her waist...so much can be read into that..from spoken words that have no meaning "you look just fine to me" ' I'm too fat/skinny/bustyect ect' to binge eating/starvation..and I adore the green cloth with your red hair

I'll take that as a compliment. I've been gaining weight over the winter, but I suppose it's normal. It's too cold to go out running or anything, and one tends to just want to huddle under covers and sleep... or I do, anyway...
