I think there's pretty much the same amount of Clone Troopers = just over 250, maybe a few more if you include Rex, Cody, Fox, Wolffe, Gree and the Jedi Knights. Here's a photo of my Republic Troops [link]

Where did you get so many officers(third row from the left)

The third row from the left are the AT-ST Drivers (which I got with my 2 AT-ST sets, the rest were bought as minifig magnets from the Lego website), the next row (which I assume you were talking about?) are the Imperial Officers from the 'Final Duel II' set (Lego Number 7201) which came out in 2002. I bought a few to get as many Stormtroopers as I could (a shop nearby was selling them off at half price) and I swapped the original yellow heads for fleshtone ones to match the other fleshtone Imperial troops.
