Toho's second giant monster, Anguirus is based on the North American Ankylosaurus, but magnified an order of magnitude in size, and given sharp fangs and faculative bipedalism. Here's my attempt at a skull of this popular monster. He's been through several iterations, and this one is based on the older versions from the '50's and '60s.I hope you enjoy it.

I was just looking around and saw this piece and I thought 'whyΒ does that look so much like Anguirus?' Well I guess I know now. Great job.

While Anguirus is based on ankylosaurs,Β he reminds me a bit of a land crocodile in a way. Could be similar to how Godzilla is, and his classification just defies our own views on dinosaurs.
