Ok I finally got this together. Here is a tutorial to create these glowing orbs I've been messing around with lately. I know there are some similar tutorials out there, but not exactly like this one. So here it is. Just keep in mind that this is my very first tutorial... so if you see mistakes or something I missed please let me know. I will be more than happy to fix it.This tutorial is for the average user. I did not explain where all of the buttons etc are. If you do my tutorial I would love some feed back on how it went & what you came up with so drop me a note!

hey man i was doing your tutorial but when i got to step 4 "Add a final transform triangle
In the Variations tab" it is kinda of confusing i also don't seem to have zcone post_rotate_x
post_rotate_y in my apophysis can you please help me

You need to have the 3D version of Apophysis to do this tutorial. I think that may be your problem

It seems that I'm an idiot...
I finally found "Pitch", "Yaw", "Height" and "Perspective" options in apophysis & set them to the values shown on screenshot.
I guess it would be a good idea to add one more "step" about this to your tutorial... For people like me. (:

Somewhy the third triangle breaks the whole picture instead of adding the perspective effect... Dunno, maybe because my apophysis version is different (it is 2.08 3d hack).
Still it worked quite good. After a bit of tweaking I got that result.

Well you did a very good job on what you have! Keep it up! The last triangle added is the final transform or the "FX" button at the top of the triangle editor. It will be a white triangle. If you used a regular new triangle it would not work so try that and see if it helps! Good luck!

Great tutorial! I just can't seem to get it right. I have tripled checked all the values to put in and it still doesn't look like yours...hmmmm. help? lol

One thing I would check is that you are not missing a negative sign (-) in front of a number that needs one. It is easy to miss those and that could make a big difference. Right after I wrote this tutorial I did a test of it and did each step and mine was wrong, I went over it a few more times and finally realized I missed a negative. Not sure that's what you did but it could be! Good luck!
